Music

The Music Curriculum intent at Bonnygate Primary School is to provide our children with an understanding of the inter-related dimensions of music. Through this understanding children can explore how music is created and apply this to their own compositions. Children will be given the opportunity to learn musical instruments, perform and sing as well as listening to and exploring a range of musical genres and styles which will develop their enthusiasm and spark their creativity.

We use Music Express to teach our Music lessons across Key Stage One and Two. Opportunities for performing take place weekly during singing assembly, Christmas assemblies and other school based performacne, IRock performances as well as Thurrock Music Festival for Key Stage One and Two.
