Curriculum intent

1. “Our PSHE curriculum provides opportunities for critical thinking and resilience when facing risks, challenges or complex situations and developing the knowledge, skills and attributes to make informed decisions about their wellbeing, health and positive relationships both now and in the future”

2. “Our PSHE curriculum develops children’s resilience and critical thinking to enable them in building upon knowledge and skills of wellbeing, safety, health and relationships. They will explore making decisions in complex situations and what risks and challenges they can be faced with”

 

RSE- Relationships and Sex Education

Curriculum intent

1. “Our RSE curriculum enables children to develop a deepening knowledge of their health and wellbeing, mental and physical health and equipping them with the information and skills to guide them as they progress through changes”

2. “Our RSE curriculum equips children with the knowledge, skills and self-esteem to guide them through the exploration of mental health, wellbeing and physical changes. This gives value to their questions about relationships and their bodies and supports their resilience.
